Grover (jan@fairviewllc.com)
is our office manager and is well versed in receiving your
initial and subsequent phone calls. Jan is a former executive
assistant to the Cliffs director of resales and is accustomed
to the needs and concerns of property owners. She enjoys taking
calls, so don’t hesitate to ask her for information
or assistance!
Steve Hamblen (steve@fairviewllc.com)
is our president and chief projects manager. Having 30 years
of experience in residential construction and maintenance,
Steve also brings a love of the area and a working knowledge
of the terrain. In 1994, Steve designed his own 6,500 SF
mountain home (Fairview House) and was one of the first
in the Upstate to build a high end stone residence with
a huge view. With an earned PhD in Environmental Engineering,
Steve’s emphasis on residential clean air, clean water,
and erosion control is well known and respected.
Pete Bauer (pete@fairviewllc.com) is the field manager of operations
for Fairview Builders, LLC. Pete comes from "the mountainous climes of Keystone", and from sunny San Diego, where he owned and
operated residential construction companies. His family owns and operates a
window and door manufacturing plant in Pennsylvania. Pete is
a hands-on builder with 30 years of experience in all
aspects of residential construction.
Glenn Markevich
is a construction superintendent of our new homes in the
Mountain Park/Valley/Glassy area. He comes with a background
of construction and general maintenance with The Department
of Fish and Game in New Hampshire and served as a project
supervisor for Brinks Security Systems’ home wiring
division.
Sid Hagen is a
construction superintendent of our new homes at Lake Keowee.
He is an experienced carpenter and expert at drywall installation
and repair. Actually licensed as a residential builder in
his own name, Sid also brings 30 years of experience in
residential maintenance and construction.
Ben Claes is the
superintendent of lot improvement, landscaping, and
residential maintenance. Ben has a wide background of
experience in lake and mountain home landscaping, as well as
in the trades of framing, roofing, and dry wall.
Cindy Hamblen is our
interior decorator and can assist custom home clients with
the nuts and bolts of colors, fabrics, and finishes, etc.
Starting with a BS in Home Economics and adding her training,
certification and experience as a home decorator, Cindy
also works with the decorating details of our spec houses.
Chris Austin is the
owner and chief project manager for VIP Technology Contractors,
which maintains a marketing and service center in our office.
Chris can address all of your Home Theater needs and utilizes
state-of-the-art equipment for HD television. You may make
arrangements through Fairview Capital Services for all of
your structured wiring, multimedia, communication, automation,
security and digital surveillance needs. Chris has the DirecTV
franchise in the mountains, and we have a working flat screen
TV demonstrator in our showroom. You may sign up for this
service in our office as well.
Gene Buchanan is the
president and general manager of Buchanan L. P. Gas Company.
Buchanan is by far the largest and best LP Gas supplier
in this area, and we here at Fairview are pleased to provide
customer service for them. You can sign up for your gas
tank here, view our working, wall-mounted Rinnai tankless
water heater, and receive further information about fireplaces
(indoor as well as outdoor), grills, ranges, spa heaters,
heating systems, and generators.
Lot Acosta is the owner
and chief project manager of Acosta Stoneworks. Lot works
closely with us, due to the high percentage of homes utilizing
real stone and cultured stone, and has completed many jobs
with us, including retaining walls; flagstone paving for
driveways, sidewalks and patios; house veneers; fireplaces;
and spectacular water features. We have a large display
of cultured rock in our showroom, and a good selection of
natural rock on pallets outside the showroom. Coming soon
exclusively to Fairview: natural stone varieties from Mexico
